Pumpkins Pumpkins Everywhere - Parragon Book Buddies #Review

We were very excited when our new book arrived from Parragon Books for October. This month's book is "Pumpkins, Pumpkins Everywhere" by Smriti Parasadam-Halls and Lorena Alvarez. Halloween is one of our favourite time of year in our home so we were thrilled to receive a new Halloween themed book with its colourful glittery front cover. 

This book follows a group of children as they go trick-or-treating and march in a costume parade while discovering lots of different pumpkins everywhere. The pumpkin designs include showing emotions (happy, sad, cheeky), spooky designs (spider, cat, wolf) and musical sounds.

This book was a rather quick read that kept my Baby Boy entertained but the colourful illustrations had lots of interesting images to discuss with my Daughter. We talked about the different pumpkins designs but also about the costumes the children are wearing.

My daughter loved the pumpkins so much that she has decided to be a pumpkin this year for Halloween. I look forward to reading this book with my children and getting inspiration for costume ideas in the future.

This book feels very durable and highly quality printing. The illustrations are bright and colourful.

This Halloween book is not scary or spooky and celebrate the fun of Halloween. The vocabulary is basic enough that it will be a book that my Daughter can practise reading with in the next year.
