There is some additional pressure to create a Christmas filled with magic and fun this year because this is the 1st year that my daughter understands and has expectations for Christmas Day. I also have been really busy creating daily vlogs for #Vlogmas2015 and blogging so I had less time to prepare for the Christmas festivities.
My Top 3 Tips of How to Get Through the Christmas Season:
Online Shopping - Create a "Wish List" on Amazon.co.uk and share the link with partner or relatives. My husband reviewed the list and and simply purchased items to be delivered to his office. I did wander through the shops in town and took a couple photos of items to add to the "Wish List" later but I did not have any opportunities to shop without my children the last couple weeks.
Stock Up on Baking Supplies - I gathered together and purchased baking supplies for the last month or so. I made sure I had plenty of flour, sugar, food colouring, spices, sprinkles, and eggs so I could do some last minute baking with daughter. I was able to make some gingerbread play dough quickly earlier in the month because I already had the ingredients in the kitchen.
Easy Children Craft Sets - I purchased some very simple craft sets from Wilkinson early in December. They have allowed for some last minute crafting the last couple month. I still have a couple craft kits that I will probably use the next week during the Christmas Holiday from school.
Very excited that only 2 more sleeps until Christmas morning! Gifts are wrapped except for Santa needs some help assembling a couple items on Christmas Eve.
