"On the Fifth Day of Christmas - A Christmas Craft" is the today's topic for #12DaysOfParenting. Welcome to my blog if you are hopping over from Monkey and Mouse.

We love doing Christmas crafting in our family. The last couple weeks we have been busy doing some easy crafts from Wilkinson but loved making some gingerbread play dough a couple weeks ago.

We used the Gingerbread Play Dough recipe from Housing a Forest. We used more spices than recommended but Little Ladybug loved mixing the ingredients. This recipe requires a quick cooking on the stove.

My daughter loves making play dough at Preschool. With a basic recipe of 1 cup of flour, 1/2 cup of salt and 1/2 cup water. Some of our my daughter's favourite seasonal favour are peppermint, chocolate, coffee, and herbs.

We hope to make some Snow Cloud Dough from Nurture Store.
