Messy Mat from Messy Me #Review

Our living room is the "heart" of the house. If the wooden floor could talk, it would probably tell you about how it is often covered with food crumbs, drops of paint, glue, and water. We were recently sent a Messy Mat from Messy Me, an English family-owned business. We loved the teal colour with stars. This oilcloth mat is 90 cms x 120 cms and is perfect for our daily use.

During the recent Easter/Spring School Break, we used the messy mat several times. The first time was when decided to have a pizza party picnic on the living room floor. It was large enough for daughter and son to eat their lunch on.

Once lunch was done, I simply wiped with damp cloth clean and put away for next messy activity. It is suitable for occasional machine washing at 30 degrees.

Later in the week when my daughter decided she want to do some playing with water and ice, it was time to put down the Messy Mat. She spent several hours playing with melting ice, play dough, and stickers with Little Brother. The mat kept my wooden floor from getting soaked with water. Also the play dough did not stick to the mat so it was easy clean-up.

The edges are accurately sewed and the oil cloth is high quality. We are looking forward to taking the mat on our Summer Break adventures at the park and beach.
