The Home Life Project - February 2017

Joining Clare from Maybush Studio with her "The Home Life Photography Project - February ".  This monthly photography project involves documenting your daily life for one day per month.

DATE: Saturday, February 4, 2017

Normally, I document the life around our home for this photography project but this month I am focusing on somewhere that feels like home to my family. We became member of ZSL Whipsnade Zoo around 3 years ago and it has felt like our 2nd home ever since. We have spent many hours running around the zoo and visiting the animals. Our favourite part of heading to the zoo is the feeling of freedom. Freedom from social media, people and daily life. The zoo property is 600 acres so even on busier days it never feels crowded. There is so many different animal species that there is alway a new animal friend to meet on every visit. We fill our lungs with fresh air and always come home with ache tired feet.

There is not many photos of me because I am normally always behind the camera but this is me resting from dealing with toddler that is always running the opposite direction than the rest of the family.

I am thrilled that Claire is hosting this photography project again this year. She is also setting a challenge also each month. Look forward to sharing more around the Ladybug Home in 2017.  For more details on Home Life Photography Project.

  1. Hurray! You got a photo of yourself in the collection! I know that feeling of having a toddler running in the opposite direction. For some reason Alice is far worse than Theo ever was, not just at running in the opposite direction, but climbing, getting into mischief everything - exhausting! Thank you for showing us round your second home (all 600 acres of it!) x
